Open for Hire
Cockleshell Community Sports Club has 22 acres of green space tucked behind houses on Southsea seafront, adjacent to the Royal Marines Museum. This has been made available through the Cockleshell Community Sports Club, a community partnership organisation. The site is for use by clubs and organisations within the local community. The area boasts 5 football pitches, one rugby pitch, cricket pitches and nets.
The playing fields are maintained to a very high standard by our groundsman.
Additionally there's a Multi Use Games Area on which hockey, netball, basketball and tennis can be played, all in a safe environment along with dedicated parking.

Football
We have 5 football pitches available, 2 x 11 aside pitches, 1 x 9 aside and 2 x 6/7 aside pitches. Why not hold a tournament and hire all of the pitches?
MuGA
The MuGA courts system offers endless flexibility allowing many sports (tennis, basketball, football, volleyball etc) to be played in one area.
Netball
We have 3 full sized netball courts ready for hire, along with use of the pavilion and parking this makes this a perfect venue for a game or even a tournament.
Rugby
We have rugby provision for boys and girls from Under 13 to Under 17. Come and see our facilities and see how we can help.
Archery
